Mother, children found dead in Lillington home identified

LILLINGTON (WTVD) -- Harnett County deputies found a woman and two small children dead inside a Lillington home Friday while conducting a "well being" check.

The bodies were discovered about 4 p.m. on Cherry Hill Drive in Lillington after a neighbor called authorities.

Deputies found the mother and her two children dead.

Authorities identified them as Danielle Falls Biggs, 35, 3-year-old Benjamin Biggs, and 21-month-old Gwendolyn Biggs.

Investigators said at this time there does not appear to be any indication of involvement by additional people. However, the investigation is preliminary.

The sheriff's office said updates will be made as the investigation progresses.
