Officials: Elderly man killed in Wayne County house fire

WAYNE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Officials have confirmed an elderly man was killed in a house fire in Wayne County on Saturday.

Multiple crews responded to a call at 120 Weathervane Rd. in Pikeville around 1 p.m. The fire has since been contained.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
