1 dead, 1 injured in Fayetteville shooting
Fayetteville police are looking for the person responsible for fatally shooting one person Saturday evening.

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are looking for the person responsible for fatally shooting one person Saturday evening.



Officers said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the Carlie C's parking lot located in the 600 block of South Reilly Road.



When police arrived, they found two people had been shot.



The victims were later identified as 20-year-old Nisier Nuriddin and 20-year-old Tontaria Lunsford.



An eyewitness told ABC11 Lunsford was shot in the arm and Nuriddin was shot in the chest.



Both victims were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where Nuriddin later died; however, police say the Lunsford's injuries were non-life-threatening.



Detectives with the FPD's Homicide Unit are currently investigating the homicide and additional information will be released as it becomes available.



Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
