Police investigate after body found on Hope Mills bridge

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are working to identify the body of a man found Friday on a Hope Mills bridge.

The Hope Mills police chief said the body was found around 8 a.m. on a bridge near Lakeview Road.

There's no word on how the man died, but police do not believe anyone else to be in danger as they conduct a death investigation.
