ACC/Big Ten Challenge features Michigan State-Duke, UNC-Indiana

The likely preseason No. 1 Duke Blue Devils will host Michigan State in the marquee matchup of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 29.

Duke has won five in a row against Michigan State, including the 2015 national semifinal, the 2014 Champions Classic in Indianapolis and in the 2010 ACC/Big Ten Challenge at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Both teams will get an opportunity to scout each other at the Champions Classic in Madison Square Garden on Nov. 15, when Duke will play Kansas and Michigan State will take on Kentucky.

National runner-up North Carolina will play at Indiana on Nov. 30. The game is a rematch of the Tar Heels' 101-86 victory over the Hoosiers in the Sweet 16 in Philadelphia this past March. The Tar Heels will have a hefty front line with the return of Justin Jackson and Kennedy Meeks, while the Hoosiers are buoyed by the return of Thomas Bryant.

On Nov. 29, Final Four team Syracuse will play at Wisconsin, which made the Sweet 16 in March and is expected to challenge Michigan State and Indiana for the Big Ten title. Last season, Wisconsin won at Syracuse in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

The other ACC/Big Ten Challenge games on Nov. 29: Pitt at Maryland, Iowa at Notre Dame, Georgia Tech at Penn State and NC State at Illinois.

The games on Nov. 30 are expected to be deeper in talent, with Ohio State at Virginia and Purdue at Louisvillesharing the marqueewith the UNC-Indiana showdown. The other games are Virginia Tech at Michigan, Rutgers at Miami and Nebraska at Clemson.

The challenge begins Nov. 28, with Minnesota visiting Florida Stateand Wake Forest at Northwestern.
