CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- The NFC champion Carolina Panthers revealed their preseason schedule for the 2016 season Thursday.
Times and dates haven't been determined, but the Panthers will face four AFC opponents.
They'll open with two road games, at the Baltimore Ravens the week of Aug. 11-15 and at the Tennessee Titans the week of Aug. 18-22.
The third preseason matchup, and first at home should be an interesting test as the New England Patriots come to Bank of America Stadium the week of Aug. 25-28. The third exhibition game is traditionally when starters see the most playing time.
Finally, the Panthers will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 1.
In other exhibition games of note, the NFL champion Denver Broncos, who beat the Panthers in Super Bowl 50, will open the preseason at the Chicago Bears.
The first weekend of exhibition games also will feature the Rams' return to Los Angeles, when they host the Dallas Cowboys in a nationally televised game on Aug. 13.
The whole thing gets underway Aug. 7, when the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts play in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.
