Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who suffered a hip injury Thursday night, underwent an MRI on Friday that now will be sent out for a second opinion, according to league sources.
But there is some concern that Thomas could miss some time, depending on the second opinion.
Thomas suffered the injury in the first quarter.
The Broncos, who took some time off this weekend after Thursday night's 21-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers, still are gathering more information on Thomas' hip injury.
Thomas had four receptions for 48 yards in the Broncos' season-opening victory.
