Many of you may know Michael Oher as the offensive tackle of the Carolina Panthers, however I'm betting a majority of you know him from the movie, The Blind Side, that was based on his life story.
That said, the Panthers announced Friday they had signed Oher to a three-year contract extension and many of his teammates put their own Blind Side spin on tweets to congratulate him.
Center Ryan Kalil started the shenanigans at 9:45 a.m. ET by tweeting this gif of Oher's response to Leigh Anne Touhy, Oher's adoptive mother, when asked if he wanted to stay with the Touhy family.
Naturally, offensive tackle Mike Remmers followed Kalil's tweet with the precursor to Oher's answer in the movie with a gif of Touhy asking the question herself.
And even Touhy jumped in with a response to Remmers' tweet.
Guard Trai Turner wrapped it all up with his tweet, a gif of Oher's tutor in the movie, Miss Sue, when she congratulated him for his grades with a fist bump.
Oher's response to all this? (A tweet Remmers would go on to retweet.)
Carolina guard Andrew Norwell was the only one of the Panthers starting O-line family that did not poke a little fun at Oher via Twitter, but he knew it was all in good fun.
This all comes after Oher had recently told ESPN he wanted to stay with Carolina.
"Love the organization," Oher said. "It's such a great organization. You wish you could be a part of this type stuff your whole career."
Oher's deal is worth $21.6 million in new money, according to ESPN and multiple reports, and includes $9.5 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
