North Carolina social media reacts to the passing of former football coach Bill Dooley

The North Carolina Tar Heels football family has lost one of their own: Former coach Bill Dooley died Tuesday of natural causesat the age of 82.



Under Dooley, the Tar Heels won back-to-back ACC championships in 1971 and 1972. In '72, UNC went 11-1. Dooley had a record of 69-53-2 during his tenure in Chapel Hill, which stretched from 1967-77. The team would add another conference title in Dooley's final season.
