CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- Panthers' fans are making sure the team gets a big sendoff as it travels to California for the Super Bowl.
A huge crowd has gathered for the Panthers Pride Rally from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Charlotte's Romare Bearden Park.

The Panthers faithful saw players along with Sir Purr, the TopCats, the PurrCussion drumline, and the Black & Blue Crew.
The Panthers gave out 2,500 pom-poms and other team souvenirs.
The Panthers leave for California on Sunday. They play the Denver Broncos Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
