Last year, the Atlanta Falcons won the NFC South at 11-5 en route to the Super Bowl, but the division did not produce any other playoff teams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) just missed, while the New Orleans Saints (7-9) and Carolina Panthers (6-10) had disappointing seasons.
