Ryan Cowden named Titans director of player personnel

The Tennessee Titans have named Ryan Cowden as their director of player personnel, the team said Tuesday.

"Ryan will oversee both pro and college scouting," said Titans general manager Jon Robinson.

Cowden spent the past 16 years with the Carolina Panthers, most recently working as the team's assistant director of scouting. That coincided with Robinson, who was the Panthers' director of player personnel before he was named Tennessee's general manager in January.
