Source: Panthers, safety Kurt Coleman agree to 3-year extension

Panthers safety Kurt Coleman has agreed to a three-year extension that he will sign on Wednesday, a league source confirmed.

The NFL Network first reported the extension of the 28-year-old Coleman, who had a career-best seven interceptions in 2015.

Coleman and the Panthers report to training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Wednesday.
