CHARLOTTE -- Perhaps you've noticed the NFL's "color rush" campaign. Reaction to clashing colors on the same football field has been, well, mixed. There's a reason the road team is expected to wear white.
Nevertheless, things are about to get colorful in Charlotte at the ACC championship game between Clemson and North Carolina. UNC, the designated road team, got approval from both Clemson and the conference to wear Carolina blue jerseys in Charlotte on Saturday.
The Tigers will counter with an all-orange combo that includes a sewn-in hand-warming pouch (is that sheep skin?) for Heisman Trophy candidate Deshaun Watson.
