From Alex Smith's wild night in the Kansas City Chiefs' surprise upset of the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, to the Los Angeles Rams' full-on throttling of the Indianapolis Colts, to the Jacksonville Jaguars' 10-sack frenzy in a domination of the Houston Texans, the first week of the NFL season did not lack for theatrics.

Week 1 concludes Monday night with a Monday Night Football two-fer on ESPN, with the Minnesota Vikings hosting the New Orleans Saints at 7:10 p.m. ET, followed by the Denver Broncos hosting the Los Angeles Chargers at 10:20 p.m. ET.
