CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The effort to get Google Fiber up and running remains a top priority in Cary.
Towns across the Triangle are making preparation for Google's coveted high-speed internet service.
Cary is poised to be the first Triangle town to get it installed. Google wants to get the ball rolling on huts used to house network-related equipment.
The plans are to make the huts brick, with a fence and landscaping. Planners emphasized that the fences won't include barbed wire.
