Overturned tractor trailer blocks I-85 near Henderson

HENDERSON (WTVD) -- Traffic along Interstate 85 was blocked in both directions Tuesday morning when a tractor-trailer overturned near Henderson.

The accident happened near exit 213 for Dabney Road. It is unclear what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.

Emergency crews were able to get the truck right side up and reopen the southbound lanes.

The northbound lanes remain closed as crews work to clean up the wreckage.

Northbound motorists are being detoured at the exit for Dabney Road, and are taking South Beckford Drive, U.S. 158 Business East and Parham Road to get back to the interstate.
