Train catches fire, blocks traffic in Wake Forest

WAKE FOREST, NC (WTVD) -- Wake Forest officials report a broken down train is blocking Friendship Chapel Road and preventing travel between South Main Street and the Public Works Operations Center, 234 Friendship Chapel Road.

Firefighters were called to the scene after one of the engines apparently caught fire.

Officials said they were told by CSX that it could be several hours before the train can be moved.
