Violent storms leave thousands without power

Saturday's violent storms left thousands without power across the ABC11 viewing area.

More than 2,000 homes were in the dark due to Saturday's storms. Duke Energy reported that 784 customers were without power in Johnston County.

Reports show that about 370 customers lost power in Lee County. That number was significantly lower in Wake and Durham counties.

Robeson County, south of Fayetteville, had more than 1,800 customers lose power.
