Durham police looking for driver after overnight chase, crash

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham authorities are trying to track down a driver involved in a chase that ended in a crash overnight.

Crews on the scene said the incident began when police received a call about a stolen vehicle.

The car was spotted and a chase ensued with the vehicle crashing on Chapel Hill Street.

The driver jumped and ran.

A female passenger was hurt and is now in the hospital.
