LOS ANGELES -- Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Marion Cotillard were among several celebrities who walked the red carpet early at Saturday night's Governors Awards.

The Hollywood ceremony presented the first Oscar statuettes of the season and was established in 2009 as an untelevised celebration of its honorary Oscar winners.
