DIY Terrariums for First Friday

Ramble Supply Co. - Combine your love for tiny plants and wine on First Friday. Ramble Supply is hosting a DIY terrarium bar with tiny plant experts The Zen Succulent.

"Join Ramble Supply for a special First Friday event featuring the expertise of The Zen Succulent. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Megan George will help you craft your own terrarium with sand, stone, moss and air plants. There will be wine to fuel your creativity! The event is designed to be drop in, so you can arrive anytime between 6 and 9p, but we'd advise reserving a spot beforehand. Space is limited!"

Pop Bottles for the FLIGHT Pop-Up Shop Grand Opening

FLIGHT Pop-Up - Raleigh FLIGHT is a brand new pop-up shop in DTR with proceeds going to improving Raleigh. That's something we can rally behind. You know what else we can get behind? A grand opening with cake and bubbly!

"FLIGHT is a fund to propel urban projects--projects that'll make Raleigh awesome. FLIGHT Pop-Up Shop will help fuel the cause. Yeah, it's pretty badass and 100 percent in the spirit of FLIGHT's mission, collaborating and activating an urban space into something colorful, creative and charitable!"

Some of Raleigh's ambitious visionaries, makers and awesome citizens, including Deco Raleigh and Edge of Urge, are partnering to offer a unique, curated collection of amazing goods, most of which you won't be able to find anywhere else in Raleigh (including at either store involved!). It'll only be around for two months, so come be a part of the the opening event on First Friday. There will be cake, snacks, and you better believe they'll be poppin' bottles to celebrate!

Sunday Funday Champagne Class

Warrior Pose with Yoga for Veterans

The Stockroom - Join "You Call This Yoga" for a donation-based yoga class in the beautiful setting of The Stockroom 230. Proceeds from the class support their new programming for military personnel and veterans.

"Spend Veterans Day with You Call This Yoga and a local yogi immersing yourself in a unique kundalini yoga experience in The Stockroom 230. The class is open to all levels and is donation-based, so pay what you can! All proceeds will help You Call This Yoga with new programming for military personnel, veterans and their families. The class begins at 6p, but it's recommended you arrive early. Snag a spot here.

See Bond Like You've Never Seen Him Before

IMAX Theatre at Marbles - Dress the part as you join Marbles for a special viewing of the new Bond movie Spectre. There will be a martini bar and costume contest. Remember, shaken, not stirred.

"If you've been waiting to see Daniel Craig take the screen as Bond again, you wanna do it right. Join Marbles for a special IMAX viewing party of Spectre equipped with drink specials (you better believe there will be martinis) and a costume contest. Hit BBQ & Bluegrass Before Chatham County Line

The Ritz- Raleigh - Pre-game the Chatham County Line concert with a BBQ & Bluegrass benefit for Triangle Family Services. Feast on good eats and drinks before entering the show. Grand Opening Party with Singin' in the Rain and the Gregg Gelb Jazz Quintet

North Carolina Museum of Art - Celebrate the reopening with live music and drinks before the screening of Singin' in the Rain.

"The NCMA recently unveiled their totally refurbished SECU Auditorium with features like all-new seating and a 2K digital cinema projection system. They've upped their game, including their policy on food. Concessions will be allowed in the theater for the first time ever.

The Handmade Market

Cobblestone Hall - The Handmade Market is a gathering of over 50 of Raleigh's best indie artists in the area. Come browse, buy and find some inspiration from fine art, jewelry, paper goods, home accessories and more.

"The Handmade Market is one of the many maker shows put on by The Handmaidens, a group of local movers and shakers in the indie craft movement. This indoor designer craft market features fine art, apparel, jewelry, accessories, housewares, paper goods, and more, so you can find something awesome for yourself (you deserve it!), start your holiday shopping early, grab a surprise gift for a friend or just check out all the amazing local talent.

Watch Raleigh's 'No Hand King' on the Big Screen

Rialto Theatre - You've seen him poppin' wheelies around town, now you can see him on the big screen. Local filmmaker Patrick Shanahan directed a documentary about Raleigh's No Hand King.

"You've definitely seen Rodney Hines pedaling around town on a bike decked out in American flags. Here's your chance to get to know the real Rodney Hines, aka the No Hand King, through an intimate documentary from local filmmaker and artist Patrick Shanahan. Catch a sneak peek here.

Bop Over to Tir na nOgs for Beer and Banjos

Tir na nOgs Irish Pub - Every Tuesday, wash down your favorite IPA's and tasty bar eats with some bangin' bluegrass, folk or Americana!

"Tir na nOgs announced it will close on 11/22/15 after 18 years in business. It's not all sad news though. Neighboring restaurant, Bida Manda, will take over the space for an exciting new concept. The concept is said to feature a brewery, flower shop, bookstore and dim sum shop.

Looking to liven up the start of your week but couldn't make it out to Tir na nOgs Monday Comedy Night? No problem! Make a move for Moore Square on Tuesday and settle in for a few hours of Beer and Banjos in our favorite, Irish pub. These guys are highlighting the greatest acoustic all-stars out there.

City Market - After the DTR Christmas Parade, hit the City Market Holiday Bazaar for the chance to shop local vendors, snack on baked goods, listen to carolers and pay Santa a visit.

The market starts after the Christmas parade, so you'll really be in the spirit to get some shopping done. Watch the Carolina Hurricanes

PNC Arena - Come watch the Hurricanes blow away their opponents, where icing means more than just a cupcake topping.

The Carolina Hurricanes play in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They are the only major league professional sports team to play in Raleigh. They were transplanted to Raleigh from Hartford Connecticut in 1997. Since then, they've won two conference championships (2001-02, 2005-06) and one Stanley Cup (2005-06). $
