Fort Bragg troops send thanksgiving messages from Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WTVD) -- While several brigades of Fort Bragg troops have returned home from Afghanistan this month, hundreds of local troops remain deployed this holiday season.

Many like LTC. Bryan J. Chivers and CSM Steven J. Hartmann at the 2nd Aviation Assault Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade are sending messages home to their families for a Happy Thanksgiving.
