1 woman seriously injured in Johnston County wreck on U.S. 70 east

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A woman was seriously injured in a wreck in Johnston County early Sunday morning.

It happened off U.S. 70 east right by the Clayton Bypass.

The Nissan Sentra she was driving was completely disintegrated.

Troopers say the woman was taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.

All of the Clayton Bypass eastbound was closed for about half an hour.
