Car accident leaves Fayetteville residents to deal with cold

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- It was a cold night for some Fayetteville residents who lost their power overnight.

Around midnight, a car accident on Shaw Mill Road knocked out power in the Tiffany Pines and College Lake areas.

It appeared a vehicle crashed into a utility pole and took down power lines.

Details surrounding the accident have not been released.

PWC crews worked for hours to get power restored to all the residents.
