Light pole lands on drunk driver's car

ONTARIO, Canada (WTVD) -- Canadian police have charged a man with DWI after a bizarre incident in Ontario.

Infrared video from a police helicopter shows how it unfolded.

Officers got a call about a man apparently asleep behind the wheel at an intersection.

When they walked up and tapped on his window, he took off.

A few miles down the street, he hit a light pole which landed on the hood of his car.

He kept going with sparks flying everywhere.

He eventually stopped and was arrested.
