SNOWY COMMUTE SLOWS DRIVERS DURING MA MORNING COMMUTE

Heavy snow fell in Massachusetts Monday morning, making for a messy morning commute. Grass quickly turned white and elevated surfaces were easily covered by the winter blast. Southern Massachusetts could see up to 10 inches before the storm moves out.

LATE SEASON SNOW DELAYS CLASSES AT UCONN

It was a similar scene in Connecticut early Monday morning, where more than 6 inches fell. Plows were out on the roads, trying to keep things clear for the morning rush hour. At least four inches fell on the campus of University of Connecticut. Classes were delayed for students through the morning.

WEATHER TO BLAME FOR A 20 CAR ACCIDENT IN ALASKA

Snow was also an issue in Anchorage, Alaska. Dozens of vehicles crashed due to the slick conditions on the roads. Police were forced to temporarily shut down a major highway as conditions worsened. A few of the drivers were injured, but none of the injuries are being described as serious.
