Man taken to hospital after Harnett County shooting

LILLINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man was taken to WakeMed after an apparent domestic related shooting in Lillington Saturday afternoon, deputies say.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Matthews Road. Authorities say Shane Hammond was shot by Krystal Jackson, 20.

EMS transported Hammond to the hospital.

Jackson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
