Great Human Race benefits non-profits

DURHAM (WTVD) -- On Saturday, April 30, thousands of people will take to the streets of Durham for the 21st Annual Great Human Race.

The Volunteer Center sponsors the race and community walk that supports area non-profits. The unique fundraising event provides an opportunity for any non-profit agency to raise money for their organization.

Since 1996 The Great Human Race has raised more than $2 million for non-profits.

Registration for The Great Human Race begins at 7:45am at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The race begins at 8:30am.
