Motorcycle strikes pedestrian in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a motorcycle in Fayetteville on Friday night.

It happened as two pedestrians were crossing Raeford Road near Wildwood Drive and one of them dropped their cell phone. The other one ran back into the road to pick it up and was struck by a motorcycle traveling east on Raeford Road.

The pedestrian sustained a broken leg and a concussion.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike. He was taken to a hospital for observation.
