1 in custody, more on run after Durham armed robbery

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police responded to an armed robbery at a check-cashing business just off University Drive, west of downtown Durham.

An ABC11 crew was on the scene as officers arrived with guns drawn, attempting to enter the business.

At least one suspect is in custody, with one or two others on the run.

Police searched nearby woods for those suspects but so far no other arrests have been made.

The suspect in custody was not immediately identified.
