Authorities in Fayetteville are searching for the suspect they say shot and killed a man who was sitting in a parked vehicle early Wednesday morning.

Police have charged 20-year-old Jamarqus Deonte Hurley with first-degree murder for the shooting death of Diquane McLamb, 20. Detectives said Hurley should be considered armed and dangerous.

McLamb, of the 6500 block of Jeffrey Drive, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
