Guess Road closed after dump truck hits power lines

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Guess Road in Durham is closed between Sovereign Street and North Pointe Drive after a traffic accident downed power lines.

Police said a dump truck hit the lines around 1:30 p.m. Repairs are expected to take several hours.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital but there is no word on his condition.
