GREENSBORO (WTVD) -- The Greensboro Police Department is still searching for two missing children: Davion McCollum and Neveah McCollum.

Davion McCollum is 6 years old and described as an African American boy standing approximately 3 feet tall and weighing about 50 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Davion was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Neveah McCollum is 2 years old and described as an African American girl standing approximately 2 feet tall and weighing about 30 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing yellow hair-bows in a ponytail, a white shirt and blue jean shorts.

Police were initially looking for 27-year-old Michael Mayo as a possible suspect in the abduction. He was last seen at 225 Durham Street in Greensboro.

WATCH: Mayo speaks out after he is cleared by police

Michael Mayo was upset he was named as an abduction suspect, but police have cleared him.

On Wednesday, police said they found and spoke to Mayo, who was cooperative. However, the children were not found with him.

Police also said there is no evidence to indicate that he had the children at the time they disappeared.

Detectives now believe the children are in the area with their mother, Cierra Ralphette McCollum, 27, who resides at 225 Durham St.

Davion McCollum has chronic health conditions which require medical care.

If you have any information regarding this abduction, you are asked to call the Greensboro Police Department immediately at (336) 373-2287, or call 911 or *HP.
