Fayetteville police name interim police chief

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville interim city manager announced that Anthony Kelly will serve as interim chief of police, effective at the end of this month.

Kelly has served as assistant chief since last January. He has more than 20 years of police experience.

He will be taking over for chief Harold Medlock, who is retiring.
