17-year-old girl dies at scene of wreck on Bingham Drive in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left one person dead Friday night.

It happened around 9:25 p.m. on Bingham Drive at Greenock Avenue.

Police say Erika Allyha Cogdell, 17, died at the scene.

Investigators say her car crossed into the path of another car on Bingham Drive.

Police say the driver of the other car, 24-year-old Jason Lee, and two of his passengers, 24-year-old Derea Holland and 22-year-old Victor White, were rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time.
