Blustering winds knock down traffic lights in Raleigh

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The wind is to blame for knocking down traffic lights in Raleigh early Wednesday morning, prompting road closures.

It happened around 4 a.m. at Hammond and Tryon roads.

A detour is currently in place, however, drivers are being advised to avoid the area until repairs are made.
