Police presence cause traffic delays on I-40 W

WAKE COUNTY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Police closed exit ramp 287 on I-40 West in Wake County for a few hours on Easter Sunday as they dealt with an investigation.

Public Information Officer for the town of Cary Carrie Roman said Cary police are assisting another jurisdiction with an investigation.

Roman said there is no threat to the public.

The ramp was later reopened.
