No ban yet on 'fidget spinners' in Wake or Durham

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A new fad in schools across the country may soon be banned. "Fidget Spinners" are intended for children with an ADHD diagnosis to help them focus, but they've become popular with other students.

So far, they have not been banned system-wide in Wake, Durham, or Cumberland County schools.

But, the districts say some individual teachers have banned them from their classrooms.
