School bus involved in Apex crash

APEX, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A Wake County School bus was involved in a crash Friday morning at the intersection of Toll 540 and Old Hwy US 1 in Apex.

A spokesperson for Wake County Public Schools said there were no students on board as the driver was on the way to pick up the children on the bus route.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said the bus and a Jeep collided. There were no injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
