Authorities search for suspect in armed robbery at Kangaroo in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Officials in Cumberland County are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Kangaroo Express.

It happened on McArthur Road around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 20 years old, wearing a red bandana, a long-sleeve black shirt, and had a small, short afro. He may have taken off in a silver SUV.

Officials believe the man made off with something from the store, but it's not clear if it was money or merchandise. No one was hurt.
