CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- UNC police are trying to identifying a person of interest related to a burglary at Granville Towers East.
A female resident reported that sometime after she went to bed at around 2 a.m. Friday, someone entered her room. She woke up around 7 a.m. and found her room door open. Her purse and wallet were found on the hallway floor outside her room with money missing.
Surveillance cameras showed a black male in his late 20s to early 30s with a medium build and some facial hair entering the building shortly before 7 a.m.
The man was wearing a baseball cap, a long-sleeved red shirt, blue sweatpants, and dark athletic shoes. He was driving a black Chevy HHR.
