Car crashes into 518 West on Glenwood South in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A car crashed into the 518 West restaurant on Glenwood South Friday afternoon.

The car left a big hole in the side of the building, with portions of the car inside the restaurant.

The restaurant says the pizza station has been destroyed, and the hole in the wall has been boarded up.

The driver of a silver Honda Accord apparently botched the turn, ran through a wall and into the restaurant.

No one was injured. 518 West is still open.
