Dramatic car fire forces family from Durham home

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A dramatic car fire forced a family from a Durham home Friday afternoon.

It happened on Yancey Street.

Flames were shooting from the Volvo parked in the driveway - forcing a woman and child to leave the house.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze before it spread to the home.
