Police have not released the identities of the victims, but family members say the young victim is Donovan Holloman. They say Durham Police would not say how or why he was shot.

A man identified by family as the mother's boyfriend was patted down before he was taken to the hospital with what appears to be an injury to his foot.

Police are trying to figure out how this happened and whether there will be charges.

Neighbors are praying for the little boy's recovery.

Family members and neighbors say there have been issues of domestic violence in the home.

But police say they have not responded to any domestic violence calls involving the couple.

This is the fourth child shot in Durham in five months. Two have died.
