Fayetteville police investigate armed robberies at businesses
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating two business robberies that happened Thursday and Friday.
Officers say one man bought a drink at the China One restaurant on Bragg Boulevard before another man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money before speeding away in a white Impala.
Three hours later, authorities say the man who bought the drink was seen at the Wingate Hotel on Sycamore Dairy Road asking about room prices. He left, and then another man in the same clothes as the China One suspect pointed a gun at the clerk but didn't get any money.
A white Impala also left that scene.
