Fayetteville police investigating shooting

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville are investigating an overnight shooting that injured at least one person.

Officials said they found out about the incident after a man who had reportedly been shot on Bardolino Drive - not far from Lakewood Drive - was driven by someone to the hospital.

Details surrounding the shooting have not been released, but it may have stemmed from an armed robbery.
