Fire damages Harnett County home

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Harnett County family managed to escape after a fire swept through their home Monday evening.

It happened at home on Gladiola Drive.

Firefighters said smoke and flames were pouring out of one end of the home and were spreading fast when they arrived on the .

The Red Cross is helping the couple find someplace to say.

Firefighters are still trying to determine what started the blaze.
