Fire heavily damages Raleigh home

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A fire has heavily damaged a home on Swingline Way near Poole Road in east Raleigh.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Pictures from the scene showed the flames burned completely through the roof.

Firefighters got the blaze under control in less than 15 minutes.

There were three adults and two children inside the house when the fire started. All escaped without harm.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
