Fort Bragg soldier charged with sexual assault

HOKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Fort Bragg soldier was charged Thursday with sexual assault.

Hoke County authorities arrested Edward L. Davis after receiving a call from the Hoke County Department of Social Services in reference to the alleged crime.

An investigation revealed 34-year-old Davis allegedly committed a sexual offense on three different occasions.

The age of the victim has not yet been revealed.

Davis is being held under a $25,000 bond.
